Many fires have happened all around North America, and many have even happened in California. These fires in California are happening for many reasons. A reason why the “Little Fire” in Pleasanton could have started was because of vehicles. Catalytic converter sparks, dragging chains, or tire blowouts (such as Interstate 680 and Highway 84) these things could be part of the problem on why fires are starting up.
Another reason why fires could be starting can also be because of humans. Examples of this can be illegal campfires, discarded cigarettes, or even sparks from landscaping equipment.
But a big reason why these fires might be happening is because of all the land with dry vegetation. As it’s very dry, one spark could set the whole area of dry vegetation on fire! One more reason could also be because of the heat wave that is happening in southern California. As inland communities are even hitting triple digits (up to 105 degrees Fahrenheit to 110 degrees Fahrenheit.) and overnight lows aren’t even helping that much as it stays around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. This heatwave could have a large piece of the problem of the fires in California. To avoid wild fires, don’t start any fires in dry vegetation area and hopefully the vegetation areas are cleared so they don’t catch fire. Follow the instructions of the fire department when outdoors.
