We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! The holiday season is the best, and there’s a lot that’s happening during this time. For example, Christmas. There’s nothing like opening your presents on Christmas morning, and about 89% of Americans celebrated, even if they weren’t celebrating religiously, we still had a lot of fun. Another holiday is Hanukkah, a Jewish holiday and around 80% of American Jews celebrated it in some sort of way. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! New Year is celebrated in diverse ways all over the world. For instance, in the Netherlands, eating Oliebollen, (donut like fritters), is supposed to be good fortune. Lunar New Year, celebrated in East Asia, is celebrated with family feasts and dragon dances. And in New York, when it hits 12:00 AM, a 12,350 pound ball is dropped, representing hope, and signaling the year change.
Whatever holiday or holidays you celebrate, we can all agree that December and January are exciting months filled with amazing memories.
