If we want to know what songs are popular now, we first should check the Billboard. Now, for those who are wondering what the billboard even is, well so was I, (at one point, before I discovered Billboard) Billboard is basically a website that displays the top songs of the month and many more updates, awards, and anything like that about music. Basically the best website to check on music awards, best song of the month and so on. When I check the“Hot 100”list, in big letters, it shows on number 1 as “Choosin Texas” by Ella Langley. This is crucial data, but not enough, if we want a more accurate answer, we have to look from a variety of music streamers, and other websites.
After checking Youtube Music’s “Trending 20 United States.” Katseye’s brand new song, “Hootie Frutti” is number 1. And the crazy thing is that, “Choosin Texas” wasn’t even on the list! Moving onto our next music platform Spotify. Spotify has “Dai Dai” by Shakira as its top one, with “Hootie Frutti” right behind it.
