April is a month with millions of things to do, and many different events are celebrated.
Let’s start with the big ones, including Autism Awareness Week. Around 1 in 10 kids are diagnosed with autism, meaning there are 75–78 million people with autism. Autism is a condition in your brain that makes you see the world from a different perspective, and most things are scary and confusing for them. Instead of ignoring kids with this condition, we should help them in any way possible.
What do you call it when worms take over the world? Global warming! April is Earth Month, and it’s about time. Earth needs proper caring for; waste is ending up on beaches and in swamps. Smoke and gases are hurting our environment. What can you do to help our planet? You could save water, plant trees, and reuse anything like bags, batteries, and more. A small drop of water can save the Earth.
Some events manage to come here from all the way across the world! The Cherry Blossom Festival is being celebrated in San Francisco, Japantown. There are traditional dances, drum performances, and food that makes your taste buds sing with pure joy. This festival really welcomes the spring mood.
Oh, and how could I forget? Easter is a very celebrated holiday in the USA. Adorned Easter eggs are hidden and found; inside are small toys, stickers, bouncy balls, and many other things. Most people in America celebrate Easter. Even if you don’t, it’s an amazing holiday filled with fun.
